At Heirloom Prep Academy, our mission is to equip young girls with the tools, training and mentorship they need to grow into confident, capable young women. Through a combination of etiquette, leadership development, public speaking, financial literacy, cooking, hygiene and community service, we provide a well-rounded foundation that prepares our students to thrive in school, in their communities and in life. Our mission is to instill poise, discipline and self-respect while creating opportunities for growth that will carry them into adulthood.

ABOUT HEIRLOOM

Heirloom Prep Academy was born in Bowie, Maryland, from a vision to create something intentional for the next generation of young women; a space where girls could develop the confidence, character, refinement, and practical skills they would carry throughout their lives.

The name Heirloom was chosen with purpose. An heirloom is something of value passed down from one generation to the next. We believe the same should be true of the lessons that shape a young woman (confidence, character, knowledge, grace, discipline, leadership and the ability to navigate the world with intention). These are valuables of their own, worthy of being cultivated, carried forward and eventually passed on.

Through etiquette, leadership, financial literacy, wellness, essential life skills and community service, Heirloom creates opportunities for young ladies to learn beyond the traditional classroom. Our Preppies are introduced to experiences that broaden their perspectives, strengthen their voices and prepare them to feel confident in spaces both familiar and new.

At Heirloom, we believe in learning through experience. Our Preppies don’t simply learn dining etiquette, they practice it around the table. Leadership extends beyond a lesson into using their voices, making thoughtful decisions, serving others and learning to lead with confidence. From afternoon tea and formal dining to golf, community service, wellness and personal development, our programming gives young ladies opportunities to put what they learn into practice.

As Heirloom continues to grow, we remain grounded in the values upon which our community is built: Excellence, Integrity, Confidence, Leadership, Discipline, Grace, Poise, and Service. Our goal is to cultivate qualities and skills that remain with our Preppies long after their time at Heirloom has ended. Because the most valuable things we pass down aren’t always things. Sometimes, they’re what we teach the generation coming after us.

Brittini Ennis, age 35, is the Founder of Heirloom Prep Academy, where her passion for preparing the next generation of young women has grown into a community centered on confidence, character, exposure and lifelong development.

As a mother raising a daughter of her own, Brittini became increasingly aware of the lessons young girls need beyond academics; the ability to communicate with confidence, navigate unfamiliar environments, understand financial responsibility, develop strong social skills, serve others and carry themselves with intention.

That awareness, paired with her belief that exposure can shape what’s possible for a young woman, inspired Brittini to create a space where those lessons could be taught intentionally and experienced in real life.

Today, Brittini leads the vision and development of Heirloom, thoughtfully shaping its curriculum, programming, experiences and long-term direction. Her approach extends beyond preparing young ladies for a single moment or milestone. She believes in giving girls a foundation they can continue building upon as they grow into confident, capable and well-rounded women.

Through Heirloom, Brittini is building the kind of community she believes every young lady deserves access to—one that sees who she is today while intentionally preparing her for who she can become.
