BOARD OPPORTUNITIES

VIce chair

The Vice Chair supports the Board Chair in providing leadership and oversight to Heirloom Prep Academy’s Board of Directors. This individual should be a dependable, solutions-oriented leader who can help guide board initiatives, support organizational priorities and step into a leadership capacity when needed. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, collaborative and deeply committed to advancing Heirloom’s mission and long-term growth.

TREASURER

The Treasurer provides financial oversight and guidance to support the fiscal health and sustainability of Heirloom Prep Academy. This individual works closely with organizational leadership and the Board to review financial activity, support budgeting and financial planning and help ensure responsible stewardship of Heirloom’s resources. The ideal candidate has experience or a strong working knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting or nonprofit financial management and demonstrates integrity, attention to detail and sound judgment.

GENERAL BOARD MEMBERS

Board Members serve as ambassadors, advisors and advocates for Heirloom Prep Academy and its mission. Members contribute their professional experience, perspectives, networks and leadership to help strengthen the organization and support its continued growth. Board Members are expected to participate actively in meetings and initiatives, support fundraising and community engagement efforts and uphold the values and standards of Heirloom Prep Academy.

MENTOR OPPORTUNITIES

CLASS MENTOR

Mentors play an important role in creating a supportive, engaging and enriching experience for Heirloom Prep Academy students. Working alongside program leadership and instructors, Mentors provide guidance, encouragement and hands-on support during classes, events and program activities. Mentors help reinforce lessons, support small-group activities, model professionalism and positive behavior and ensure each young lady feels seen, supported and encouraged throughout her Heirloom experience.

The ideal Mentor is dependable, patient, professional and passionate about supporting the growth and development of young ladies.

Mentors should lead by example and embody the values of The Heirloom Standard: Professionalism, Excellence, Grace, Leadership, Kindness, Respect, Confidentiality, and Servant Leadership.

INTERN OPPORTUNITIES

Social Media & Content Creation Intern

The Social Media & Content Creation Intern will support Heirloom Prep Academy’s digital presence by helping capture and create engaging, on-brand content that tells the story of the Heirloom experience. This role is ideal for a creative, social media–savvy high school or college student who understands current content trends and knows how to create content that feels fresh, polished and authentic to younger audiences.

Working alongside Heirloom leadership, the intern will assist with capturing behind-the-scenes moments during classes and events, developing short-form video content, identifying relevant social media trends and contributing creative ideas for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and other digital platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for aesthetics, understands what makes content engaging and can balance current social media trends with Heirloom Prep Academy’s polished and professional brand identity. Experience creating content is preferred but not required; creativity, reliability, initiative and a willingness to learn are most important.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers help bring the Heirloom Prep Academy experience to life by providing additional support during special events, community service initiatives, student experiences and select program activities. Volunteers may assist with event logistics, student transitions, check-in and check-out, activity support, hospitality and other needs that contribute to a polished and well-organized experience for our Preppies and their families.

Volunteer opportunities are ideal for individuals who are dependable, professional, service-oriented and passionate about supporting the development of young ladies. Whether assisting with a single event or supporting Heirloom throughout the program year, volunteers are expected to represent the organization with professionalism, kindness, discretion and care.
